It is becoming more and more apparent to me, having encountered several natsoc types on free speech platforms, that they do indeed live up to the socialist part of the name. I've been on Gab now for a couple of months and whilst I've met some very cool fellow libertarians and conservative types who also believe in free speech, there are a lot of nazi wannabes running around freely too (which I knew but it's a price I was willing to pay for free expression.) They have all the hallmarks of socialists - envy, resentment, whiny victimhood narrative, lack of self-responsibility for problems (it's always someone else's fault!) Intsocs just peddle the class-based narrative ("muh rich people") and natsocs the racial one. The end result is the same, with the result that I've started calling them "swastiflakes" and "NJWs". They're laughable really and I've just got used to their talking points and tend now to just avoid them - they'll always end up like all those rather pitiful Hitler Youth who ended up surrendering to the western allies as the war drew to a close in Europe. There are more people now too posting debunking materials countering their arguments as Gab's user base grows, which is heartening to see.
