It's all just so tiresome watching the US media constantly invent imaginary things to stoke controversy about.

First... I'd like to note that it's a pretty interesting coincidence that this narrative is being pushed in media outlets around the world at exactly the same moment that Pamela Anderson is appearing in new ads wearing "natural" makeup in a new ad campaign for a lab-grown diamond company.

Secondly, this just feels like such a fake issue that entertainment media and dumb culture reporters care about, but which otherwise no one would be talking about anywhere.

Not one real person has posted a single negative (or positive) thing about Pamela Anderson's choice of make up and I certainly don't know anyone who would actually care in any sense beyond mild passing curiosity.

Without the media telling people they're supposed to see this as somehow heroic and brave, I don't actually think anyone would mention it at all.
