How to Make Pandan Potato Bugis Cake

The first step, what you have to do first is prepare 1 potato? Clean the potato and cut the potato into small pieces like the photo above. After that, prepare 225 grams and finely chop the brown sugar until done.

The second step, after you have prepared the potatoes and brown sugar, the next thing you have to do is prepare a pan and put enough water into the pan. After that, put all the potato pieces that you have prepared into the pan and boil the potatoes until soft over medium heat.

The third step, while the potatoes are being boiled until completely cooked, then all you have to do is prepare another pan and put all the brown sugar that you have finely chopped, half a teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 1 pandan leaf and 100 ml mineral water. After that, stir and cook on medium heat until the brown sugar is completely dissolved.

The fourth step, after the brown sugar has dissolved, then enter 300 grams of white coconut into the brown sugar pan and cook again until the brown sugar water shrinks to the white coconut. After the brown sugar water has shrunk, set the coconut aside.

The eighth step, after all the dough has been filled with brown sugar coconut, then prepare a steamer and preheat the steamer for a few minutes. After that, prepare the banana leaves and apply cooking oil on the banana leaves. Then arrange the dough neatly on the banana leaves and steam for about 15 or 20 minutes on medium heat.

The ninth step, while the dough is being steamed, now all you have to do is prepare a frying pan and put 700ml thick coconut milk, half a teaspoon of salt, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and a pandan leaf. After that, stir continuously the coconut milk so that the coconut milk doesn't break until the coconut milk boils over medium heat.

The last step, after the coconut milk has boiled, then enter enough cornstarch solution so that the coconut milk is thicker perfectly. Then, stir briefly so that the cornstarch solution is evenly mixed.
