Just recently, it was already announced that our province is now at state of calamity. This was due to severe floods brought about by torrential rains. Many of places in the provinces has been submerged in floods for 5 days.

Since yesterday, I can hear choppers which may be monitoring the flooded areas. Central Pangasinan is the hardest hit areas by the floods. One of the exits of the floodwaters which included those coming from mountainous areas, and nearby provinces is our town because the river exits at Lingayen Beach.
At the moment, classes are still suspended in several towns in the province. I am not sure if it would be until tomorrow. Hopefully, the water will continue to subside because the waters are still up, with high tides as factors, as well as waters from different provinces which passes the rivers in our towns.

We heard good news about the weather that there won't be torrential rains. However, I hope the forecast would be as it is. We are hoping for the best, and I was glad to see the sun peek this morning.
