On a recent business trip to the Phoenix area, I took one evening to visit the South Mountain Park and Preserve at sunset. The drive up was fun, winding through the desert hills and seeing tall cacti along the upward route. Once I arrived at the top at Dobbins Lookout, I spent some time hiking around the area and taking in the panoramic views. It was a great time to be up there.

Below are a few of the panoramas I took. These photos are not of mountains, but from on top of one.

Those shots are fantastic. Number one priority when my wife and I move is going to be internet access. Speed and unlimited. I love how big you can upload. Looks like it is a favorite sunset photostop for a lot of people. I love how that one rock formation kind of looks like the sphinx, and those sun spikes are great. thank you for sharing.

Such beautiful landscape shots. And a gorgeous sunset, too! !Tip

Thanks!

Stunning view over the desert capturing as far as the eye can see @mctopherson

What camera and lens do you use, this gives a great panoramic view.

These particular panoramas were done with my iphone. I do like to shoot with a Canon 60D normally, but I didn't have it with me that day.

At least a phone camera is a great back up, took amazing shots. Also prefer a proper camera.
