Two things you might mention as well, we should get paid in perpetuity on our posts, perhaps immediately, after the 24 hour payout, but only in steempower.
This allows us to go back through a bunch of steeming and still reward our favorite authors best works.
Authors get paid more/longer, and isn't that what steeming on is all about?
I have comments that say that I have a potential payout but is over 24 hours and hasn't paid, you can see them by scrolling down my comments.
I guess I can't really complain until after they don't pay, but why would they be missing their payout time?
