What do we work for?
The human created(if it can be called like that) work as a means of subsistence in order to obtain a reward for his effort to generate wealth from the surplus of others and or his own as a means of exchange in order to live better (or at least that is the assumption).
In remote times(or in some places on the planet today) the human being hunted(in some places the hunt continues), gathered fruits, leaves, created tools, utensils, clothes, built shelters, all in order to stop surviving and have a more bearable life and why not? more comfortable.
The proceeds of that surplus from the working class gave rise to barter that later gave way to money as it is known today.
In current times, human beings work for money, which in turn can be changed for products and services.
What do we work for?
To generate wealth, the product of effort and thus exchange our effort and time for possessions and thus be able to survive.
The human being generated surpluses as a result of their work, over time now they had workers, companies, farms, businesses, or simply verbal agreements were created but, the employer increasingly demanded more, the worker increasingly wanted to do less.
In current times in some countries, or places, there is so much dissatisfaction with "go to work" that people prefer to simply stop doing it, they prefer to create their own utensils, their own tools, perhaps build shelters and why not? go hunting and gather fruits.
Will the demand and pressure of "go to work" be so much? that people prefer to go back to the basics or can it be said to the primitive?
What is the purpose of working? Will it be to have a more comfortable life? if there is so much discontent for doing it.To feel comfortable with what you can buy as a result of your effort and dedication when your discontent is greater than what can you buy, or it is just subsistence?
What do we work for if at the end we are going to return to the "primitive"?
