I normally don't find lift outside of the more predicable areas around Blossom.

This time I went on a little adventure North of the launch over the flat land. There are a lot of houses and roads between launch and the 8 freeway and for that reason I normally don't venture out that way.

This was a great day to fly.

The weather models were predicting about 2500 above sea level. This would mark the first time ever I was able to get above the predicted models.

Tony was waiting for me to get out of work.

If you don't know, Tony is the parastalker.

We jumped in to the after work traffic.

The wind was not going to calm down until later on in the day.

Good thing there were two of us, so we can use the car pool lane.

It didn't take long to get to launch.

I didn't realize how nice of a treat we were about to get.

Tony launched first.

Tony is about to buy this wing. Its a Delta 3. He currently owns a Delta 2. Its funny that his aircraft is called a delta.

After he launched I hustled down to the lower launch and got my feet off the ground.

It really didn't take long to get up in the air.

I was noticing that everyone was launching and going strait across the valley to El Cap.

This is the normal thing that we do. Today I wanted to see if I could find something closer to the 8 freeway and do some exploring North of launch.

It didn't take long to find a really good thermal that took me to where I think cloud base would be.

I was shocked at how nice the day turned on this late in the evening.

It was 6:30PM Pacific time when I found this great lift. This is very uncommon for me.

When ever I fly around these houses, I always think about how nice it would be to have a house in this area.

On of the obvious reasons that I would like to have a house out here is because of the location to my favorite flying site.

Another reason is because of how nice the neighborhood is.

With all the guys up in what I believe was a nice convergence, I needed to see if I could join them.

Tony found some really nice lift, and a ride to 3200 ft.

This is Art. He has a new wing.

One of the flight schools sent him a demo.

I am planing on sending out some emails to get some flying gear that I can test out and do a review on since I have crossed the 1000 subscriber mark on YouTube.

The hope is I can use the platform to learn about the best gear, and test it out.

Well, its about time to come in for a landing.

It was a truly amazing flight.
