Good post!
Being a father myself I relate to what you've posted here. It's the little things that matter most, no matter how stupid you may feel doing them. Suck it up and just do it!
Kids remember and appreciate the smallest things.
Don't let the small things miss their opportunity when the time comes! You'll always get rewarded with a smile that you can take to your grave.
