I am a parent for ten years now and parenthood is not an easy job. New learning comes everyday if not every moment. Being a mother for this nine-year old boy is not very exhausting because he is so gentle, kind and loving. How do we do that? Well, set as an example, a good one!
I went home early last Friday due to headache caused by noise and pollution at work due to ongoing renovation. Home is always a best remedy for my headache and stress. When I arrived home, I changed my clothes, took the bike for a ride around our small village. My son was playing with friends and my husband was in the kitchen preparing his snacks after jogging.
"Why don't we go to beach and bring our tent?" I asked. "That's my plan," exclaimed the little boy. So we went biking going to the beach and set up our tent. While at the beach since it was low tide, we checked pools of water with small fishes, sea stars, small crabs, sea cucumbers, and other small marine animals. It was fun family bonding.
Hitting to two birds in one shot! Fixing my stress and giving my son an unforgettable adventure in summer.
