The artistic film was returned after nine years in a museum in Marseilles

The 19th-century French artist Edgar Degas painting was found in a bus near Paris, worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Degas's painting by Les Chorists, or Chorus Singers, dates back to 1877 and stole at the Museum in Marseilles nine years ago.

The masterpiece was found in a luggage compartment of a bus, after which the police conducted random checks on the road resting area, 20 miles east of Paris.

Nijedan od putnika u autobusu nije spomenuo ovu sliku, a autentičnost je potvrdio Muzej Orsi.

Pastel slika vredi oko 800.000 evra (700.000 funti).

Francuski ministar kulture François Nissen rekao je da je oduševljena obnavljanjem njenog rada "nestanak francuske štamparske baštine".

The French artist is known for his paintings and sculptures of dancers.
He was born in Paris in 1834 and features one of the founders of Impressionism, the 19th Century Art Movement, features small thin brush strokes, which describes the visual printing of the moving effect of light and color.
