        All of this self driving shit began as a DARPA project, self driving vehicles were the DARPA challenge for a while. Now they are on to robots that can do everything humans can do, like this fellow: (remember these are the ones they show the public, not the most advanced)

        If you look at who actually funds a lot of research into technology and materials it always goes back to the military.

          It would take hours to detail all the reasons I am against this.

          But, I am against this. That won't stop it.

          We need to develop an app for jamming the signals controlling drones, because they're going to be used on American streets by the police soon. Military hardware inevitably spills over to civilian police, and undead thugs are going to be worse by far than living thugs in terms of abuse.

          Also, 5g. Tinfoil ain't enough anymore. We need actual Faraday cages alla time, and particularly when engaging in petitioning government for redress of grievances, so we don't get cooked by microwaves while we peacefully protest.
