I'd Rather Talk About A Treehouse!

My last post sprung out of shock, and though it appears to be just the tip of the iceberg... I'd rather talk about a treehouse.

My eldest stepson put the finishing touches on this year long project on the first beautiful spring day, which was closer to a summer day...and it really does seem we might be headed for spring- in March, I can hardly believe it (a final snowstorm will come my vast NY experience tells me)

It's a bit chillier today, but the birds are still chirping, almost in defiance. I'm with you birds, doing some defiant chirping of my own!

I'm super impressed with Billy's makeshift house in a tree, I would've been deliriously happy with such a special spot when I was a kid!

And this is an 'electronic free zone' they leave their phones in the house when they come out to play here... methinks more parents should consider building a clubhouse with such rules!

Naturally we topped off the day with a fire and some smores. Looking forward to a summer filled with these nights. Leased 30 acres of land in Hector national forest for the year, lots of camping in our future!

That's a pretty sweet treehouse, even at their "advanced" ages I think my kids would be pretty stoked with that XD Youngest actually wants to build one in our tree but we haven't yet figured out a way of doing so without hurting the tree.

You can lease national forest? o_O

There's private property within the national Forest, don't ask me how that works 😆 Across the road it's public land.

How are things down under right now? Same craziness as here?

Definitely some kind of crazy XD Panic buyers piss me off so much. And then make me laugh when they try to return the stuff they panic bought o_O

Now thats a rawkin treehouse! Proper job!

I agree, hahaha, it is definitely unique, and most importantly sturdy!

Has Scotland gone insane too?

It's absolutely nuts here. Hoarding like your wouldn't believe and people on the edge of panic.

Amusingly though, when I popped over to tell my old neighbor to phone me of she needed anything she was like eh? What a load of shite :0D
