"HAPPY" "Sa"Paru /Gaijatra everyone !!!
Death in human society has always been associated with misery and sadness , but here in Nepal , once a year , the festival of "Gaijatra" ( SaParu in newari ) presents itself as an amazing change in perspective.
it makes us realise ,
. We dont need to take DEATH as somberly as its portrayed to be , for on this day , we "CELEBRATE THE LIFE" of the ones we lost , remember all the smiles and happiness and good deeds , revisit joyous memories , rather than lament on their death .

and the fact that all people who hav lost loved ones that year flock the streets in a vibrant parade only adds to make us realise that DEATH is a part of the circle of life and everyone has to go thru it , ( that being the original intent of the festival being commemorated by King Pratap Malla )
