Someone in my comment section just described Republicans versus Democrats today as essentially nationalists versus socialists.
Those two terms have combined before... and the results? They really weren't great.

At very least, it's closer to socialism than anything the three of us would prefer. It's closer to socialism than it's opposite. On a Venn diagram, it might as well be socialism.
