I guess it is not just me. But many of us would have ended up alone in a party or meetup where we simply fail to connect. Luckily , we have smartphones to our rescue. And I have no qualms in admitting that I too use it as a weapon to kill the boredom.
But I wonder if there is a better way out. Of course, an easy solution is simply to leave the party. But the problem arises if the host knows me personally. And no, gobbling too much food and drinks is not quite a creative thing to do either, just to kill time.
What do you think will be a smart way do deal in such situations?
