Which candy bar do I go with?

Trying to decide what set up to go with

Working on plans for my son's Graduation and Open House later this year. I am trying to figure out what type of Candy bar I should do. My son likes candy so there will be some type of candy bar at the open house with his favorite candies. From his first favorite to his current ones. But I am not sure which way I want to go. So I thought I would get some input from my readers.

My first choice is things like this, they are little stickers that go on the candy kisses and wrappers to go around miniatures. You can customize them in all kinds of ways. And they have wrappers for even Reese Cup's. My youngest daughter isn't into Candy except Hersey kisses so for her open house we only did the kisses.

these images come from a google search of products available for purchase, there are a ton of sellers if you are interested in buying any of these do a google search for 2018 graduation ideas

But since my son loves sweets and candy I am thinking a set up more like this might be called for.

I even thought about making smarties that look like diplomas. My son isn't much help he is like you know what I like. My daughter on the other hand knew what she wanted and how everything needed to be. I know there are some things that I will be doing for my son that will be similar to what I did for his sisters open house.

I want him to have a good time

I want him to enjoy his graduation party. I been thinking about different ways to make it special for him and to make it different from his sisters. So I am thinking about doing this with $1 bills of course because $100 is my graduation cash gift and I think it would look really cool.

Thankfully I have months to figure out what I want to do with this

I am glad I have nearly 5 months to plan everything. I hope that the decisions on what I am going to end up going with comes easy as the time comes to actually start preparing everything. I am excited for his future and seeing where he will go. I am also excited for my next step even though I don't know what it is I am going to pursue yet. I am also a little sad that this stage of my life is about to come to an end. And a new stage of mothering begins.

Looking forward to what 2018 has in store for me.

I ordered with my husband 50th coasters for under the glasses with on one side his picture as a baby and the other side him now. People liked it and took it home. For my daughter i had a big poster made with a salad of pictures of his friends through the years, over and under eachother, it really became a poster you can look at for hours. good luck you have nice ideas.

it is my baby so it is the last childhood party I get to throw so I want it to be a great one.

I think you will make a fantastic one! :-)

Hi @technosgirl! Have you considered customized M&Ms? A co-worker turned me onto this and it was a smash hit for an employee anniversary. You can put custom photos and text on M&Ms candies and they turn out fantastic!! They already have "Graduation Packages" that are super fun. Your son will never forget this, and his friends will crack-up if one of the candies has his photo on it. Here's the link to the Graduation Packages. Not that expensive for what you are getting. https://www.mymms.com/category/shop+by+celebration/graduation.do

I forgot about them I did look at that last year for my daughter, she doesn't like M&Ms though so I threw that idea to the side, thanks for reminding me of them.

My pleasure. Love the pizza with dollar bills, BTW. Have fun!

I love the option for multiple kinds of sweets. I love chocolate. I'd go with a variety of candy. Its not just your son your serving so always go with options. Whatever you decide will be great. Good Luck!
