BLOG #1: PASEO DE SANTIAGO
Apart from knowing Iligan City as the landmark of majestic waterfalls
and its nature park destination, you may never know what lies more to
this place than its staggering structured projects that has grown rapidly
towards the fast phased years and aimed to attract more locals and
tourists on the spot. If you are a Filipino local, then your wanderlust
is a given, and for tourists coming down to this city seeking for a
relaxing place to unwind and even hold group gatherings or so ..........
you must know the most popular destination to dwell yourself into.
On this article, I invite you to know more about sights to see at what
most locals refer to as Paseso De Santiago, Iligan City's pride and
tourist destination place for its abundant visitors at a daily base.
Moreover, you will meet radiant smiles through the mass visitors.
One thing
for this destination conducting a fixed schedule entertainment, is their all
time weekend live band performances during the night. This is where
visitors are active on almost everywhere inside this park. Its features
highlights the open sea area and its wide grounds to stroll and ride
cart wheels, mostly almost considered as the local's dating ground.
With benches all over the place, a statue monument of Lapu-Lapu
also stood in spotlights that marks the land as his. What more to
see are the crowd it seemed and the steamy barbecue stalls around
the corners of its area, most likely a food park altogether. (see images below)
Things to Know and Do Inside the Park:
- Fare to jeepney transportation amounts to 7PHP or $0.14
(look for Santiago Canaway transportation vehicle and they'll lead you) - Admission Fee ranges to 20PHP or $0.39 per individual
- Food corkage ranges up to 100PHP or $1.96 so choose to bring or dine
- Enjoy Karaoke entertainment rooms (price at their front desk)
- Ride through horse wheel carriage & Strolling Bicycles that only costs 50PHP or $0.98
- Indulge on Live Band Performances, their steaming barbecue & beers
- Selfies with your cameras
Now, this is the part where I believe that these are already much to
spark out a wanderlust in you, dear. And yet I have a Night Vibe Vlog.
