Learn the Bible: They entice by sensual passions of the flesh those who are barely escaping from those who live in error

The Bible teaches us that we have to choose between assertiveness and error. The teaching of the Kingdom of Heaven begins with the blessed life in the sermon on the mount, entering the Kingdom of God, Jesus tells us is, to live the spiritual gifts inherited from God. Jesus explains that the spiritual gifts are way, truth, and life (John 14:6), the gifts are way because the gifts are progressive, they are lived because we grow with them, the gifts are truth because they are precision and accuracy, and when the truth is not enough the gifts are life.
Being precise and accurate, being assertive, is essential because that is how we control the effects of the law of return: "Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows." Galatians 6:7.
The search for happiness is a mistake because human beings are subject to ethical laws and happiness is a return, a prize, not a goal of life.
The apostle Peter in his second epistle explains to us that there are teachers who lead us along the path of assertiveness, and teachers who lead us along the path of error and these teachers are called heretics.
Heretics are a particularly serious problem in the Church, as explained by the apostle: "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who brought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed. And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep" 2 Peter 2:1-3.
The apostle Peter also adds: "For, speaking loud boasts of folly, they entice by sensual passions of the flesh those who are barely escaping from those who live in error" 2 Peter 2:18.
The path of error leads us to destruction, instead the path of assertiveness leads us to eternal life.
