Presearch is increasing the number of tokens required to set up a Presearch node

Passive income is just in the wind. People are doing everything they can to generate passive income and running nodes of all sorts is one of the most popular ways of doing so. Maybe you have read about how easy it is to generate passive income with a Gala Games node, or maybe with an SRX node? Or what about a StrongBlock node (which in reality is an Ethereum node or a Sentinel dVPN node... and soon possibly Cosmos and Polygon nodes), or maybe you are thinking about creating a Presearch node.

No matter which option you are aiming for, it is important to understand that currently, the Presearch node is the one giving you the "lowest" income. But, we all know that investing in cryptos is about investing in the future, and if you anyway own Presearch tokens, then why not generate more of them as you run a Presearch node?

Until now, the requirement has been 1000 PRE tokens to run a node

Until now, you have needed to stake 1000 PRE tokens as a minimum in order to run a Presearch node. From the coming Friday, that minimum requirement will be raised to 2000 tokens. That isn't a big deal, and running a Presearch node is still way cheaper than most other nodes out there. Of course, people are buying Presearch tokens like crazy right now, and thus the tokens are currently trading at $0.35 (compared to $0.25 yesterday). Why are they doing that? Because if you create your node before the 8th of October, you will only need 1000 tokens to set up a node, while you will need the double amount from October 8th and onwards. If you create a node before the 8th of October, it can keep on running with "only" 1000 tokens staked, so that is actually a big deal!

Based on this, the token price for running a node will be approximately $700 per node (2000 tokens), and then it is great to know that you will keep your tokens and generate more with them as you run your node. It is not like GalaGames where you currently have to pay $17,000 for your node, and you pay for the node license and receive no tokens in return. Of course, you will be able to actually sell the node license one day, but besides that, you pay and don't see that money again. Of course, you do earn somewhere between $30-$50 in Gala tokens per day per node, so there is still a giant income created with such a node, but it works in a different way.

So, the $700 price per Presearch node is still very cheap compared to $17,000 for a GalaGames node. The price to set up an Ethereum node with StrongBlock is currently around $6200 (that is, 10 Strong tokens). If you want to create an SRX node, the price is approximately $7500 for the 5000 SRX tokens required to create the node.

Once again, creating a Presearch node isn't expensive at all, and I believe it will be fruitful for everyone in the coming years if you decide to operate one or several such nodes in the world of decentralized searching!
