Is there really an instant death syndrome?

From the movie 'The Remaining' there is an unclear phenomenon mentioned called

"Instant Death Syndrone".

The movie from 2014 is based around an end world event mentioned in prophecy from the bible.

The following video is not a movie however and is about a pastor slumping over dead while preaching very recently.
