Pay It Forward Curation Contest - Week 4 - Win SBI & Steem-Bounty by @thedarkhorse
@honoru
Voting Weight: 154 SP (356 - 201 SP) , Reputation: 51.1 , Age: 53 days
The following is recent post where he reminisce his past showing his work environment.
https://steemit.com/cn/@honoru/4xpayr
And, I know, I know ... the reputation score is more than 50, BUT, "Tiffany & Michael (51) - Faith, Hope, Love" on their profile - who can resist?
The posts are in Chinese and would be inappropriate for me t translate them since they are well capable of doing so if they so choose.
Please check them out as they are doing many wonderful things to bring their followers here and to grow here.
I discovered them at the same time that I entered and featured @coder-bts and they are the ones who interviewed this bright young man.
They, @honoru - Tiffany & Michael, are highly successful in their own right and space and they really do not need to gain anything from this contest. However, I am including them for everyone's benefit.

@bibliophile posted a lot and it is difficult to choose just one but this one contain such wisdom and is worthy of reading, translating, even just with https://translate.google.com.
@xiangqi (36)
He posts videos about end-games of Chinese chess. Videos are illustrated in Mandarine Chinese, so, it will be difficult to evaluate him for rewards.
https://steemit.com/cn/@xiangqi/20180423t195442319z
However, I am still featuring him to bring this game of Chinese chess to all to enjoy. All one needs to do is to learn the rules of the game and watch the moves - the video shows the alternate moves starting with those that do not work. Typically, moves start with the red side (white in the video).
Thanks again for your participation and support of the #payitforward contest. Also, thanks for your translation help so that I could appreciate the posts more fully. I have visited, upvoted, and commented on each.

There is no need - your English is fine.
Thank you for your hard work! As in one of your videos - you had to comb through 10,000 end-games to narrow down and select maybe 100 for further consideration and each would then require hours of work to compose and present all the variations before getting to the best solution. It is a very time consuming task and require great skills.
Thank you!

I reviewed all three of them, the chinese chess one, was, well interesting, I am sure if I watched enough games I would be able to figure it out, the basics, maybe but not the fine nuances, much like I know how to play chess, but there is more than just knowing how the pieces moves. An overall good selection, I like that you are featuring chinese post, I know the browser translate function does not work real well, but it does work good enough to get the gist of the words.

I think 中国象棋 (Chinese chess) is unique and interesting. It has some similarities with western chess but have more variations and limitations to make it more interesting. So, featuring @xiangqi is to
China is a modern day miracle on a grand scale and featuring Chinese bloggers is my way of helping to (albeit in a very small way) bridging the language and culture gap.
It is easier, seems to me, to encourage the Chinese bloggers to start translating some of their posts into Chinese than for people to learn Chinese using google. In any case, there are pictures that might be interesting to some.

I look at a few Chinese Language or Korean, or Japanese, language pages on occasion, (usually when a picture catches my eye), and other foreign language post. I know the browser translate function is not 100% good, but I am generally able to get the gist of the post. And some of them, whether intentional or not, make for a really funny read at times.

@honeysim - Thank you!
You are a star!
In church this past Sunday, I / we were admonished to love the unloved and unlovable.
It is a tall order, but I / we all start somewhere.
Most people cannot start with a bang as you have, @honeysim.
So, as you see in some of my nominees, I featured those who are unusual and not easily appreciated.
Featuring you or @julimattos are easy as both of you are honey (no pun intended) to bees.
So, perhaps you lady stars can get off your "flower"(throne) and go pull someone out in the weeds?
Thanks again!
All the best!
