I am new to Steem just started today. I am just wondering if anyone knows when you get a Steem payout for posting and cause it says I have money for posts but I am wondering when you get the Steem tokens and if you can just transfer those tokens to any currency exchange?

I remember reading payouts should happen about once a day.

every 24hours. Half of the content rewards goes to the author. Once you are paid, half of it is in SteemPower, which allow you to earn more by curating. (Can also be withdrawn through 104 weekly payments). The other half is Steemdollars. You can exchange SteemDollars for Steem and then exchange that for bitcoin via blocktrades.us
