How are you and your family holding up during the pandemic?

Let's be real

Nearly two years into the era of physical distancing, self-isolation, and quarantines, I still find myself asking those around me: “How are you holding up?” Living during the COVID-19 pandemic is a new experience for all of us, and I want to know how you and everyone else are holding up — as much out of concern as out of curiosity. But we need to come out of the pandemic one day, and we are gearing up for the post-pandemic phase. Experts say we should be researching vaccines and stocking up on medical supplies to prepare for the next pandemic after COVID-19. Is this true? Are we going to live in this vacuum lifestyle forever?
COVID-19 has scribbled its name on the pages of history, hopefully soon to be just a speed bump and an agent for positive change in the future. So whether you choose to quarantine or not, I hope you choose the good things in life. First and foremost, seek help when you need it. Whether it’s talking to a friend, spouse, counselor, physician, or finding support from an online group or community, it’s important to have an ally. To change the course of history, we must choose reason and communication over confusion, grace and mercy over condemnation, and love over fear.
