My Personal Peom Creativity #2 - "Dominion" by Princewill Andrew

DOMINION

Fear softly gripping my feeble will,
Gradually strangulating my weak desire,
I thought it was going for a cruel kill,
I saw death in His eye as red as fire,

So dead was my will power,
He sought intently to destroy,
Worse still I grew more weaker,
Death's visit at this point would bring me joy,

Like a refueling and a regeneration,
I felt a touch of revitalization swipe through me,
Strength came down like streams of passion,
Eager to replace and dispel the fear within me,

I stood like a wounded lion,
Looking directly in His eye,
Mounting my hopes on Zion,
My hopes on Him who cannot Lie,

I spoke the words of power,
I sent powerful missiles of prayer,
I stood on the promises backed-up with power,
I saw Him on His knees growing weaker,

I rule among principalities and not men,
I cannot be defeated,
Just like Daniel in the loin's den,
My dominion is unleashed unrestricted.
