This is a wonderful idea! In the past most churches and monasteries had gardens and fruit trees on their grounds to feed the members and the poorest in their communities. This was considered spiritual work and those who tended the gardens were honored to do so as it was service to others. This is something that can make a huge difference in the quality of life of communities and to bring people back together where they have been isolated and disconnected.

That's basically the whole of the project! Feed people and bring them together! Our society lately is really struggling, and I think part if that can be because the church has strayed from it's calling.
