These images from the first sample area show a good dark brown soil colour.
Although a pH test wasn't done, it is assumed that the range is tolerable to most plants. A good humus content, flourishing ground cover, snails and other soil organisms indicate a safe soil pH. The loam in this garden holds moisture and drains well.
The second sample has only a slight distinction in texture from the first which is sandier.
The soil analysis was made with two samples taken from different areas of the garden. I used Aranya's soil chart to record the information.
