Fancy a Shower? Where/How to Observe Perseid

Apparently, this year, the Perseid will be grand. I've never witnessed one in person, having lived in large cities with light pollution most  of my life, but I'm very excited: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/nationworld/ct-perseid-meteor-shower-20160809-story.html
