    In my city, there are mounds of clear plastic bags and boxes on the curbs on recycling night. I just walk on the sidewalk and can see what's in the plastic bags or loose on top of them, or peek in boxes. It's fairly clean and most stuff went from a shelf to the bag/box at most 6 days ago, so it's almost like thrifting for free. I've never dumpster dived or anything like that. I just walk on my city streets and it's literally in plain sight (or I lift some bags in the piles to see what's below).

        For privacy, I don't disclose. I've only been to Vegas for a few days and don't know the area well enough. If there are city recycling nights, there may be opportunities in a residential part of the city or nearby where a similar situation may exist. Every city is different, so it'd take a little homework and scouting on your part to find if, when and where recycling is left on the curbs in high enough volume to be worth your time.

        If you can find a little pocket in the higher income areas, and would enjoy the hunt, it could be a solid source of inventory/income.

            Some cites have websites where you can enter addresses and it'll tell you what night recycling pickup is. Let me know if you ever find anything!
