This story is for you and please smile and think :) I am convinced you understand exactly what my following words mean in your interpretation.
As these are my first lines in this AWESOME community #steemit blockchain based let me introduce myself to you all with following story:
Once upon a time there was born a young human on a continent on the planet called earth. Back then there were only two genders: female and male and both were equally worth in the society. My parents couldn't figure out, that I am a boy, so they decided I am a woman. Luckily they where right and I convinced as I saw later on the grown two parts :D
Growing up, the school taught me how to be a great employee by studying what they told me to, improving my weaknesses, punishing my fears so they would increase, getting more and more the person I instinclivly did NOT want to become. All this effort only to find myself at an age of 50 sitting on a chair, totally depressed?!?!?! NO!! I deleted this picture as fast as I could, but still continued studying hard.
(Short note: Level of education has nothing to do with attitude! Indeed education is very important. #CTA : Study and feed your brain EVERYDAY, but choose the content carefully. :) )
There I was a few years ago, finishing university in #engineering (which is by the way awesome, because it allows plattforms like this one) and I decided to enter the commercial world of big offices and endless non-fostering senseless conference calls and share holder value talking, because it was at that time the "easiest" way to earn the means in order to pay my rent. Selling my time to a big non-innovative company felt terrible. All my ideas led to smiles in the faces of several managers and supervisers, not speaking of directors. And believe me..the fact that my gender is female only led to more smiles...yes...woman in engineering...this is no miracle. Believe me, I wanted to be there, but being not innovative, not making the world nicer feld terrible.
Until I realised, that engineering and commercial companys have little in common. What about creating an own company and do in longterm an #IPO or even #ICO??? The idea of building a team and make my ideas, combined with real demand on the market, come true sounded awesome and add great value to the world. These thoughts were in my mind while I was taking the subway everyday back and forth to the big office space. Only the transport time was min 2 1/2 hours every day, plus walking, plus working....puff the day was over.........Can there be a better sign I have to change something??? No, so I started searching for demand.
I controlled my emotions (very important as a woman, take it as a advice if you feek female :D ) and picked ONE idea which is in a specific industry, which I could deal every day with and which could grown (scalability)
After nearly 3 years of ongoing preparation it is finally time to annouce that I found my very first business. You may think "Honey, there is still unbelievable work to to.." And I tell you "I know,.
The point is: I BUILD MOMENTUM. I am like a train, like the whole #kryptocurrency #blockhain scene is a fast train, which is nearly unstoppable. And the great part is: I did it nearly by myself! I am proud. And now it is time to grow WITH other awesome people like YOU!
And it does NOT matter which gender you are. Meanwhile there are more than only two genders officially accepted...well I leave it up to you to make up your mind about this topic.
Non regarding who you are, when doing business (Start-up, employee-job, co-founder,....be a parent..your life is sort of a business)...please remember for your own great development:
-Know who you are! Be honest and define your strenghts and weaknesses. Work on what you are good at and become better!
-Tell yourself everyday you are worth IT! And define "IT"
-Be in great shape! Not only your body will thank you, but your mind as well...and guess what?...they are one thing..They are YOU...body & mind
