Diego has never been a cuddler, ever since he came to me at 3 months old.
No way I could just put my arms around him and hug him without him pulling away.
The Husky in him was more wolf.
Somehow felt familiar to me.
Now we are both old and he likes to just lie outside in the evenings and I so much want to just lie down beside him, and I do now believe he would allow me to hug him, at least a little bit. It is the getting back up thing that intimidates me tonight?!
So I watch from the deck, tell him I love him, and he knows.
