We got a bit of a peek at the timeline for this important FDA month.

October 14th: VRBPAC will meet for Moderna boosters. I'd be shocked if Moderna doesn't get similar approval as Pfizer. Moderna's data is echoing Pfizer's in regards to booster need.

October 15th: Meeting for J&J second dose and mix and match doses. Again I'd be shocked if J&J's second dose doesn't get approval. J&J saw a large benefit from a second dose. And the long awaited mix and match data. We've generally seen that heterologous doses have been effective and safe.

October 26th: even though Pfizer hasn't filed their EUA application yet for 5-11 year olds, the FDA has received the data, as such VRBPAC is preparing to meet regarding the EUA.

I'm eligible for a booster in late October. I'm inclined to get a heterologous third dose from my initial Pfizer series, so this is excellent timing.
