Life Journal: My Father's Health Update is Better

Yesterday my father returned to the hospital for his supposed final checkup as the doctor examined his blood platelets and had seen such a better improvement the day before as the blood platelets are rising now. I don't know for what reason it went low but my father had a flu with fever and some intermittent coughing.

I thought that he had a pneumonia which is unlikely because he had a strong body. It is just he is always burning wood that he sees and uses it for boiling water and some other food. The thing is that he exposes himself in a lot of smoke and also uses used oil to kindle the fire. He does that because he wants to save cooking gas but with the health issues it creates for, it really is not worth it. Also, his cooking with firewood made the corrugated metal roof in the back of our house black as a cinder soot.

The suspicion of my father having a Dengue fever is now low and it took away our worry especially me because I just needed my father around. Now he is banned for doing much work around the house so he won't get a fever relapse especially burning wood for cooking and that welding job he does sometimes.

My brother had a Dengue fever three times already and he had it every ten years. He had it first way back 1985 I think then when he was in College doing an ROTC training for officers. Then about ten years after he had another Dengue fever! he is such a customer.

Dengue fever must not be ignored because you will just bleed to death as the body's blood's clotting ability is disabled, any injury will mean fatal and it cause a lot of lives already so the government here are advocating to clean the surroundings and destroy the breeding grounds of Dengue mosquitoes which are places that collect clear water. It is better safe than sorry.
