"Sinigang Na Baboy With Gabi" = is a popular Filipino soup dish. It is composed of pork and vegetables boiled in a clear
sour broth. Gabi/Taro vegetable is the one make the soup thicker and tastier.
"INGREDIENTS":
Baboy/Pork, Sliced Cube
Sinigang Mix na may Gabi/ Sinigang mix with Taro, Sliced
Labanos/Radish, Sliced
Talong/Eggplant, Sliced
Okra, Sliced
Gabi/Taro, Sliced
Sitaw/Stringbean, Sliced
Kamatis/Tomato, Sliced
Siling Haba/Long Chili
Kangkong/water spinach
Onion
Garlic
Water
Oil
Salt
Sliced:
"PROCEDURE":
STEP 1: In pot, put oil, Wait until hot.
STEP 2: Saute Garlic and wait until brown. After put Onion and wait until transparent. (Optional).
STEP 3: Add Pork, Simmer it and wait until until golden brown.
STEP 4: In medium heat add the Tomato,Onion, Radish, Taro, Okra and mix it slowly in a bit to balance the ingredients.
STEP 5: After add Water and bring to boil and simmer it.
STEP 6: Add Eggplant, Stringbean, Sinigang Mix and Salt. Mix it slowly to balance all ingredients and lastly the Water Spinach and Long Chili. Simmer it in medium heat. AFTER you simmer just mix a little and taste it if you want more salt you can add if your not satisfied to the taste.
STEP 7: You can now serve your "Sinigang Na Baboy With Gabi" to your family and friends. Its deliciously serve hot and more yummier if the weather is cold .
