This takes a circuitous route to get to the end game of a Secular Humanism infused with the best interpretation of religion which is a proper understanding of The Golden Rule--a society which doesn't practice unnecessary coercion and exploitation especially by threat of force.
The 5-hundred million angels in human form idea is only attempting to make a point: materialism would have no way to say it isn't true under that specific scenario so it would still leave us struggling with a pragmatic way forward and I suggest the path I think is the most sustainable and tenable given our current predicaments and trajectories. Oh, yes, the conspiracy over time in this context is Israel.
