This morning I woke up to my sukkah flipped over. Rather than getting upset I just worked away and rebuilt from the weather. Some are not so lucky when nature strikes their homes.
I was talking with a friend last night and it seems many people are battling their own personal turmoil. Getting through it is a challenge, and once it finally ends is the long term struggle.
I have been so busy lately that I have neglected a friend who is going through a hard time. I want to contact them and help support them for the rough journey ahead.
We all need that extra push from external sources when we are stuck in the mud. Forging ahead seems like a daunting task. I don’t always know the journey ahead, but I do know it’s either stop or go.
Sometimes I wish life was as easy as rebuilding something physical. However the emotions imprints left behind leave the biggest challenges ahead. There are no major secrets to success. It’s either stop or go. Stopping just makes you sit in the muck. At some point you have to reach ouch to the light and claw your way back up.
It’s never easy.. life isn’t easy. But there are many there to listen.
Just enjoying my meal after rebuilding. I wish the emotional imprints left behind were that easy. It seems life isn’t always easy no matter who you are.
It would seem for every season turn-turn. Either you give up and stop, or you continue to go. I guess life is still as connected to nature even though we create our own artificial roofs. As long as we wake up, there is a new chance to start anew.
very good philosophy btw looks like a good salad ;p
