The Unreality of reality: Simulation Hypothesis

in philosophy •  8 years ago  (edited)

The idea of life and what it is exactly has the potential to become the philosopher's nightmare.

Attempting to conceptualize the apparent miracle of existence can lead into a rabbit hole of thought that exhibits a perpetual falling into the depths of unknowable reality.

Attempting to comprehend that which by its very nature is incomprehensible to the human brain can lead to insanity - if indeed there is such a thing.

This is because the human body cannot store so much information to understand the nature of existence : it is too much information.

There are some things that we cannot be known while participating in the human experience.

What is reality?

The compelling paradox of existence is that, in truth, all form derives from formlessness.

That which we call God is unknowable.

Unseen to the naked eye.

Existing without form.

What is formlessness?

Formlessness, is that from which all form derives.

It is the source of all things: formlessness.

The source of everything that exists - existing within all that exists.

The only THING that is actually real - the only true reality - is that which is NO-THING; no-thingness.

That which is nothing: yet from which all things are born.

This formlessness is the energy of life - through this force form is given birth.

Through this force, universes form.

Planets and stars form: life forms.

This formlessness cannot be comprehended by logic.

It is unknown to most as it exists apart from the physical world.

But it is felt by all.

That feeling, that movement, that stirring of energy which some call love: this is the vibrational matrix that is formlessness.

This is that no-thing which births form.

It is not a left brain attribute: for we have not ACCURATELY developed scientific instruments smart enough to measure its quantum existence.

We have come close with quantum mechanics - but as mainstream scientists are not convinced I'd say not close enough.

Although it cannot yet be accurately measured, it is VERY real. It is the only real reality.

The world is thought to be a big tree...
These are the four steps of tantra.....
The void is the first step - the void is the seed. The seed is nothing but a container of that creative void: it contains that creative void.
When the seed breaks down into the earth, that void begins the process of sprouting into a tree.
This nothingness - what physicists call no matter - this nothingness, this NO-THINGNESS is the source.
Out of this nothingness is born the tree. Then come flowers, fruit and one thousand and one things.
But each thing again becomes a seed and the seed falls into the earth and again becomes that vividness.
This is the circle of existence. From nothing to nothing, from nowhere to nowhere.
In the middle of two nowhere's is the dream; Samsara.
In the middle of two nowhere's are all things.
Hence all things are called dream-stuff; hence they are called Maya; hence they are called nothing but thoughts, fantasies.
~ Osho, Tantric transformation

Hence this is called the mental universe; hence no-mind is meditation, and meditation is re-connection with this formlessness.

This is the unreality of what we perceive to be the ONLY reality.

Osho provides us with a good example of this truth.

Osho says that physicality is "dream-stuff".

Physical reality is only "real" in any sense because it is experienced.

Only real to the extent that it is directly experienced by spirit.

Spirit is what you and I were before our bodies: it is what we will return to when they are gone.

Spirit is the intelligence that is the formlessness of all that is.

All-that-is is formlessness; experiencing itself through the modality of form.

There is no other way around this: it is ultimate truth.

It cannot be argued away: it is there, it is the source.

Hence the quote:

Nothing real can be threatened; Nothing unreal exists - a course in miracles

Nothing real can be threatened.

Existence always has been, and always will be.

There is no "end' to life, existence, or the universe: nor is there a begining.

Time is cyclical: an infinite loop.

Time and space are qualities that have been added onto existence: and existence is not subject unto these qualities.

Rather, the opposite is true. Time and space are subject unto existence.

The fundamental quality of existence is to exist; whether or not the qualities of time, space, and physicality are added onto existence is of no relevance to the fact that existence exists.

What does this mean?

This means that as pure, formless existence experiencing itself through the form of a physical vessel, you have the potential to transcend time-space and space-time.

...more on that in another post...

Binary code

The unreality of our perceived "reality" can be further explained by the advent of binary code.

Binary code is a software sequence made up of 1’s and 0’s that can be combined in an infinite potential of code to create software reality.

Think of formlessness as 0 and form as 1.

When we combine them together in a certain sequence; we get physical reality.

0 is the first number . It has to exist so that 1 can exist.

First comes 0 and then comes 1.

1 cannot exist without the existence of 0: form cannot exist without formlessness.

Together, these two realities can combine in an infinite number of sequences to create an infinite number of realities.

This is the pattern of existence: life creates life in an eternal game of universal expansion and contraction.

The paradox is that neither came first - not the chicken nor the egg.

Both have always been.

World war 2 is happening NOW....in a parallel reality.

This is complicated to understand (much less OVERstand) , but it can be known through the modality of INNER standing, of INNER knowing.

Go into deep meditation and ask yourself if time exists: if it is absolute.

Time does not exist in the way that we perceive it.

We perceive it to be ultimate reality: but it is alterable, changeable; malleable.

Nor does space exist as we perceive it.

Both are in a constant flux of change.

All realities exist.

There is likely an infinite amount of universes......universes being born as fast as we can begin to perceive them.

The only truth to physicality, space and time; is the formless flux of energy that forms to allow all of these attributes to function.

As I have said, formlessness is the first reality.

The most basic truth.

It is 0.

And as with the number system; all things are added onto it.

This is the unreality of reality.

Nice post! Meditation definitely helps. You should checkout the @mindunleashed! 🐣

Everything that exist comes from a formless place which is made of pure energy made of light. It has the property to be light as the sun but compared to the sun light this light has everything in it and does not feel like the light from the sun, the sun light is very weak compared to the other one and it doesn't contain very much information eighter. Anyways, it's a singularity. Time is 0. It is pure consciousness. It is the absolute reality, nothing else can be more real that this. And we all can go back to it when ever we want, we just need to know how. The way is easy to understand. If you're a real hardcore person you could figure out by yourself, if you're lucky, but not recommended people may waste many years on that. Later I will write about it and publish it hear. My only concern is that my english sucks. But I will try at best. It will be very detailed, step by step and I will write about every detail you experience in brahman/nirvana. And the best thing is that I won't quote from any religion. So no need to understand complicated slokas/verses. Just my english can confuse people, its not my native language. Nice post by the way.
