We call earth mother yet we don't really know her at all - Making the unconscious conscious

Why is it we know more about outer space than what's present deep in the jungle, swamps, oceans and volcano of mother earth? Because it's always easier to look and explore outwards than inwards. Because we are not strong enough to withstand the great pressure when we dive into the deep sea? Because we are not interested enough to explore the ugly species living down there? Because we are not interested in the old residents, that we would prefer to meet someone new? Because we are not interested in going through the dirt, the pungent smell, the snapping crocodiles to find gems and lost treasure?

If they are civilised and smart enough, they would have come up to the water surface.
Hmm... We call earth mother yet we don't really know her at all.

I do agree with you. We do not have another planet to live other than this earth, so it's our responsibility to take care of it.
