What is a "Muse"?

Source

As a noun, "Muse" means a person — especially a feminine fantasy or a real life woman — who is a source of artistic inspiration.

In mythology, the Muses were nine goddesses who symbolized the arts and sciences.

Today, a muse is a person who serves as an artist's inspiration.
Muses are conitional.

Source

It is well-known that real life women were the "Muses" for almost all of Pablo Picasso's art.

Believing that school was too boring, he dropped out of High School early; only to earn an AA, BS and MBA in less than 4 years much later in life – while working full-time as a Navy/Marine Corps Medic.

In spite of a fear of heights and deep water, he performed high altitude, free-fall parachute jumps and hazardous diving ops in deep, open ocean water.

After 24 years of active duty, he retired in Asia.

Since then, he's been a full-time, single papa and actively pursuing his varied passions (Writing, Disruptive Technology, Computer Science and Cryptocurrency - plus more hobbies too boring or bizarre for most folk).

He lives on an island paradise with his teenage daughter, longtime girlfriend and three dogs.

Learned the new term 'muse'
Well written @jaichai

Thank you.

Namaste, JaiChai

I try to regularly bribe my muse with chocolate. Some times it works...LOL! Great post, @jaichai!

So who was the muse for this post? She must have been a beauty!

That Muse reminds me of my first high school girlfriend.

She was a beautiful 5' 5", blond-haired, blue-eyed ballet dancer before choosing
gymnastics instead.

Check this out.

She also possessed a sharp intellect AND a great sense of humor!

With our contrasting physical appearances and wide popularity, we were dubbed "The Silver and Gold Couple" part of the elite "Social Royalty" among the students.

Alas, I royally screwed that one up - like the rest of my relationships for next four decades!

(Heavy Sigh)

A muse’s gift is conditional? Ha ha, funny. My muse is Mother Nature and I get unconditional ‘gifts’ from her every given moment.

That's because you are smart enough to listen to her...
