When Trying to be Witty Backfires; Dumb versus Poor Decisions

in philosophy •  7 years ago  (edited)

I tried to post a meme about how smoking kills in an Anarcho Capitalist group in hopes to show the ironic effects of brute Capitalism running rampant in the tobacco industry, but autocorrect changed it to my Anthropology group... Yeah, that was a poor decision.

What annoys me is that I didn't even screenshot the meme so now it's lost in the empty internet abyss. It was a good meme too, something along the lines of when you pack a box of cigarettes, it wakes up the death inside.

Anyways, introductions aren't supposed to be related to the main article. Sloppy transitions are bad transitions. Do I even blog? Your title can start with the introduction then transition into the main topic, right?

Now let's talk about Dumb versus Poor Decisions. I find these two interesting because one is an economic level and the other is a socio level. Using the term poor decision places the decider in a lower economic tier, while dumb places them in an intellectual tier. Would the choice suggest the users internal conflict? If someone decides to use poor, are they frustrated over their economic status while others that use dumb are frustrated over their intelligence?

Does the opposite apply? If someone uses poor, are they trying to boast about their economic status while someone using dumb tries to emphasize their intellectual strength?

I don't know, I just know I use poor decision more than dumb decision. I also give stuff away more than take and I get very offended when I get called dumb. I should archive this sometime and get back to it if I have the funding to be able to do research on the topic.

Anyways, endings don't have to relate to the overall discussion; endings don't really have to be related to anything, really. What is Dadaism? What is art? Is art science? Is science art? Do I even blog? How does one blog and end?

Here's the latest meme I screenshot:

Wow Bun B is really getting old, never really got into Scarface. He's good, but I heard like two songs by him.

RIP DJ Screw.

The End.
