hmmm that only works if one thinks that anything outside of the familiar will cause pain of some sort, or here lack of comfort. Perspective can only be gained by adventuring in the unknown. If more perspective means handling reality with more ease, continuously exploring the unknown should be considered the most comfortable way of being and not the opposite.
