Who was Swedenborg?

Among the numerous philosophers in the Nordic countries, maybe Swedenborg is the biggest one - even that I have big respect for Søren Kierkegaard too. Both of them were religious philosophers - but at the moment I am focusing on the writings of Swedenborg. Here you have have a short intro about him, and take notes as you are moving on in his universe:
