When I stepped out of my door, I was bombarded by stunning colors, so I thought I would share the fun with you.
This is the view that met me when I stepped outside. Try real hard you can see My Land Rover in the lower left!
Seeing the colors, I drove over to the local pond for some more pictures.
As you can see, I wasn't disappointed!

The reflections were really nice here.
So I decided to take one with Just the reflected view:
The water was smooth and I got a good picture. Then I noticed that the sun was Not reflecting in this picture, so I raised the camera slightly, and took this:
So I can see the sun on the top, but not in the reflection! Can anyone tell me why?
The wind came up a little, and the reflection got interesting with the ripples cutting up the view slightly.
Finally, I found a Christmas tree on the shore, I may decorate it later.
No power for lights, but I may try anyway.
Nice little spot close to home. I love sunsets...Nature's free show...

I am continually amazed at the breath of color shown to us in sunsets! I really like this little pond, it is my quiet place....
