Hello dear friends, we continue our tour of Pisa, namely Piazza dei Miracoli. It is here that there are four most famous buildings that attract thousands of tourists from year to year from all over the world to see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa and the cathedral, named after the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Pisa Cathedral is amazing with its grandeur and beauty. He was built in the Pisa Romanesque style, the founder of which was Archbishop Busquito di Giovanni Giudice. Under his sensitive guidance was the construction of the cathedral.
The cathedral is faced with marble slabs and is decorated with many arched niches,
at the very top you can see the statue of the Madonna with the baby in her hands, and on the sides of her the Evangelists Matthew and John, and even lower in the corners of Luke and Mark.
The doors of the temple are made of bronze, they can see fragments of images of Christ, the Virgin Mary and Sts. John.
