Barred Owl Sunbathing in the Forest

This is a picture I took of a Barred Owl sunbathing in the forest a few summers ago; he was surprised to see me, as I was him. At first I thought the bird was dead, but then it sprang to life.! Too bad the weather wasn't nice enough to take a walk today. IMG_3016.JPG
