DECIDING THAT CAMERA REFLEX NEEDS IN OUR LIVES

in photocamera •  7 years ago

Hello to all beautiful people of steemit, today as promised I will devote myself to a new post about the beautiful art of photography. Giving advice and explaining fundamental things with which we can advance and improve every day in our jobs. Enjoy it: D

You know that it is a camera, its parts, what types of cameras exist and have already reflected on whether they want a reflex camera or not. Then the crucial moment has come: Decide which photocamera buy

Although in a way it may seem easy, believe me they need to know their needs and mainly their economic resources. But calm, a very important fact that you should always remember is this: The most expensive camera of all, is not the best of all.

Especially because there is NO best camera of all. There are cameras that fit your needs and possibilities. I do not deny that to obtain better results, in some way you need more money. But for those people like me who do not have exaggerated resources for these types of purchases, here are some tips for the moment of truth:

  • Get informed Before going to buy a camera. you must have a basic knowledge about these. Things like the size of the sensor, the screen, the objective, shots per seconds and make yourself a list where you sign what you want your dream camera to have. For example: the type of photo you want to make, this is decided according to the sensor. Or if you want your camera apart from taking good pictures, make incredible videos based on the capacity of video 720p (HD), 1080p (Full HD)
  • Set a budget. The incredible possibilities and choices when buying a camera are practically endless, and one of the key factors is the price. Do not leave your house looking for a random one. Because you will find yourself in a labyrinth from which it will be very difficult to leave. So according to your desire to spend money put your limit. I told myself: I will not spend less than "..." or more than "...."
  • Do not buy the most expensive camera of all. I repeat it again, because being the most expensive camera does not mean it is the most suitable for you. There are people who can afford certain amounts for a camera. But for individuals like us, even if we were rich, they would not serve us much. They are complex and demanding. Made directly for professionals
  • Do not buy the cheapest of all. If on the other hand, you decide not to invest enough, believe me you'll end up tired of reflex photography. Since there are cameras on a tight budget that have worse performance than compact cameras. Be fair, and if it's your dream: do not hesitate to invest enough;)
  • There is no better camera than another. As you progress on your way as a photographer you will find endless fans of the CANON brand. Others of the NIKON brand. Other SONY. And so, always try to see comments of the cameras (web pages, blogs, and others) but always look for a good contrast and verify to what extent all this is true. Remember that there is a lot of fanaticism in our society and that is bad.
  • Search the best price. And with this I mean search. To walk through different businesses, many times you can find cameras or kits in one place at a certain price and maybe in another you can see that it was less expensive than where you bought it. Look at the factual visa comercial : D
  • Do not trust the seller. Many of them tell the truth, and try to make it their job to help the buyer on their way. But instead, there are others who only seek to sell you since they get benefits. That's why it's better for you to get informed. And I say this from experience. The first time I went in search of my first camera a salesman showed me 5 cameras. I asked for the boxes for their characteristics, and the one with a better sensor was cheaper than the other but he kept telling me that the most expensive was better.

Here are some tips on what to do and not do when buying a camera. But now the interesting thing comes:

What to keep in mind about the camera you are going to buy.

  1. LCD screen: it would be good to get a camera with a screen as large as possible, since it is at the time of taking the photo will allow you to review possible errors in it. And so, you can decide whether to take a new photo or not. It would be bad to arrive at your house, to pass the photo of your camera to your PC, and to notice a fatal error, knowing that it is a difficult session to repeat
  2.  LIVE VIEW: currently most reflex cameras have this feature, which allows you to see the focused object in real time, before shooting the photo.
  3. DURATION OF THE BATTERY: is a key factor when buying your camera, especially if your field is far from civilization and any outlet. There are batteries capable of holding 400 or 500 shots, and some up to 800. So try to find out the duration of the battery before buying it.
  4. MEMORY CARD: you can choose a camera according to your type of memory card (SD, MEMORY STICK, XD) since memories like SD or SDHC are cheaper than Memory Stick or XD
  5. VIDEO: is an interesting function of the REFLEX cameras, since it is not necessary to take two types of cameras for your trips. They are identified according to their capacity as they are already named, HD (720p) or better than Full HD (1080p)
  6. FPS (SHOTS BY SECOND): have you ever seen a picture of a bullet crossing an apple? have you asked yourself how they achieve it? It is called "rafaga". It's when the shutter fires many photos, and this is called a burst shot.
  7. SENSOR: the size of the sensor is very important, although in general, most of the introductory reflex cameras usually have very similar sensor sizes.
  8. OBJECTIVES: it is one of the most important elements of a REFLEX camera. Although it is defined as an accessory, according to my criteria, it is not. Because a REFLEX without objective, what is it? This topic is very important to try and think before buying a camera. The most normal thing is that the cameras come with a kit of 1 or 2 lenses. And there you will say your, what should I choose: a single-lens kit of 18-55mm? one of two 18-55mm and 55-200mm objective? one of 18-105mm? or better yet an all-terrain 18-200mm? This topic will be touched in a following post
  9. ISO: is the sensitivity of the camera to light. The higher the ISO and better performance, the better photos will be obtained in situations with very little light. So if your camera is intended for day jobs and open spaces, do not take this factor into account. But if on the contrary you intend to use it for night photos and / or closed spaces, sports, movement or quick action, I recommend you look for a camera with an ISO higher than 6400 or 12800, or if you have the possibility of getting a bigger one, it would be better.
  10. MEGAPIXELES: I know that every time we hear that the higher the megapixels, the better the quality of the photo. But that is a lie, what then does this value serve? for photo printing. So if you plan to print your photos, you should also check out this value, otherwise it is not very necessary.

To finish this post I will leave what for me, are some amazing cameras for beginners, or also for experienced photographers:

Nikon D3300: incredible features, affordable price and ease of use

Nikon D5200: for those who like to invest a little more and get better features than the D3300.

Canon 700D: super advanced, 18MP, high ISO and FULL HD video recording.

And guys, for the last tip of the post I leave this:

If you are going to buy a camera per webpage ... do not do it. If not, do your paperwork through Amazon. For me the best page for this kind of thing. Why do I tell you this? easy. They never know who the seller is, or if their camera is in poor condition and others. EYE: I do not say that everyone is like that, but you already know how this world works.

SUMMARIZING:

  • Inform yourself before buying.
  • Set a budget
  • Search your economy
  • Evaluate comments from different places (pages, blog, experienced people)
  • Try to check and test your camera before buying it.
