Wednesday YELLOW Photo Challenge - Pictures from the Homestead

in photochallenge •  7 years ago

All pictures are mine taken from the homestead. My oldest son @thehomeschoolkid wanted to post today for the Yellow Photo Challenge and I thought that was a good idea too! Check out his post on his page. It's "GOLDEN"

This is a recent photo of some honey comb that we found in a wild honey bee hive built inside of a tree. The tree is located pretty close to our houses and maybe we will get to catch a wild swarm from the tree this year.

Second is some of our homemade homestead jam. The peach gives off its amazing color and while the jam is pretty to look at, it's also tasty.

One of last years sunflowers growing in our garden. One of our most popular videos is us harvesting and roasting our sun flower seeds. The sunflower just adds so much beauty to the homestead each summer.

This was the biggest sunflower we have grown so far on the homestead. This one was cut down and brought to the county fair and we won a blue ribbon for it that year.

I'm enjoying seeing all the yellow out there for today's color challenge. Be sure to check out @thehomeschoolkid for his entry!

Cameras include Canon T6i and Samsung Note 5.

The glow of light on the honeycomb is beautiful! Hard to say which version of yellow is my favorite because they're all so pretty!

Do you ever not wear a hat? Lol

Like pieces of amber! :))

Once I had some really yellow comb, I'll see if I can find those photos although they may be on a crashed hard drive and they may be unretrievable. They are more yellow, but not better. Yours are gold and full of honey. I can't wait to see what happens this Spring!

Thought maybe some tiny yellow gold nuggets... @ironshield
