A year ago on the Christmas evening, my uncle had an idea in his mind he wanted to try out. He wanted to try long exposure sparks play. He invited me and my relative along to make this idea come true. We went to someplace where the abandoned mansion was located, that was a nice background we wanted. I don't remember the name nor exact location of this place right now so I owe you this answer.
We used a short rope and some spongy and hairy kitchen equipment to get sparks out of it when set on fire and spinning it.
My relative crafted a nice mask which we wanted to use on a photo. My uncle pressed the shutter button. My assignment was to stay still and spin the rope with sparks.
We also used a big external flash lamp to light up my relative with the mask. The result is really cool. I hope my uncle has something in mind for this year's Christmas evening as well.
At some point, I was smelling burning. It was actually my hair because some sparks landed on me.
