A few weeks ago I took the 50+ year old floor boards that were in our house before the remodel and planed them down, cleaned them up, and built a beam casing for the house. Its a fun process to take something old and use it in a new fresh way. Lenga is a hard, durable wood that grows natively here in Chile and is really pleasant to work with.

Stay tuned for photos of the completed project.
