While up in the Western Desert of Utah at Notch Peak I took A....LOT of pictures of the mountain layers. I had fun processing them in different colors.
I am usually a very traditional and minimalist editor. Since being on Steemit and seeing all types of photography and editing styles I wanted to play with the different colors.
This is mostly inspired by @alevaskye and her request to edit playing around with color temps and tints and @jfolkmann who wanted us to "bringing out the natural pinky & purpley tones in a dusk/dawn sky" for Jack My Style for @photogames

I'm a huge fan of purple.... so I'd go for the last one. Although the horizon feels like it could use a small tilt. :) Lovely effect!!

I do like 3 and 9... just because I am always attracted to "the golden glow". 10 looks like it is from another planet, like legit without editing and 7 feels oh naturale, it has a beautiful feel.

I was hoping to make it to the top 10 too, it was a goal but I missed the first week as we were away so I didn't know if it was ever going to be a possibility, so that was pretty exciting : ) I think I had the top points for one of the weeks too??? I'll have to wait to hear :D

I love number 7! There's both yellow/orange and a hint of purple in it, and it's for me the most exciting one. But well, they are all gorgeous! I love these layered landscapes as well, too bad I live in one of the flattest countries on earth :')
